Equity, diversity, inclusion, access, and anti-racism policy
The purpose of this Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Access, and Anti-Racism (EDIAA) policy is to demonstrate the Dental College's commitment to protecting the interests of the general public by ensuring all equity-seeking groups are considered. This policy is evolving over time and with more understanding of this topic, will be reviewed regularly.
We strive to look for opportunities for personal and professional growth in the areas of equity, diversity, inclusion, access, and anti-racism.
We will be open to conversations that address EDIAA issues and personal biases we may hold conscientiously or unconscientiously.
To achieve this we resolve to:
- Maintain a work culture that promotes EDIAA;
- Continually look for opportunities for personal and professional growth in the areas of equity, inclusion, access and anti-racism;
- Be open to conversations that address EDIAA issues or personal biases; and
- Prioritize and promote a collaborative, representative and inclusive environment to allow our staff members and committees to bring their best selves to work.
